17 Sep General Meeting 14th September 2023
At this meeting four new members were welcomed. Bev Ash kindly provided the attached photos showing in order Barbara Moore, Ellen Kassel, Ian Wells and Lee Evans receiving their badges from President Bob Durbin and RSL NSW State President Ray James.
Ray, accompanied by his wife Pauline James OAM, was invited to this meeting to conduct a rare presentation – the award of a Certificate of 75 years membership of the RSL to Lindsay Dufty. Lindsay joined the RSL in 1944 so he is in fact approaching 80 years membership.
There to witness the occasion were one of his grandchildren and his daughter-in law.
