13 Jul General Meeting 10th July 2025
Close to fifty members attended this meeting in the Lone Pine Room on 10th July 2025.
Following the resignation of President Roy Parkinson, nominations were called for to fill the vacancy and with only one being received, Geoff Seis was declared as the new President.
Roy Parkinson will fill the role of Vice President until the AGM next year,
Paula Murphy was welcomed by Geoff Seis as a new sub-Branch member.
Anne Mathur, Manager of the Homes for Heroes Programme, gave an interesting talk revealing the extent of the support given to veterans seeking assistance for various reasons.
Our Dispatches editor, Ralph Clark, reported on the recent re-opening of the AE-2 Bridge at the Dardanelles.
Ralph’s article on Women in War in the July Dispatches is an excellent read and a credit to his efforts in this role.
